Description

A sofa that fits against the wall in the kitchen. Modern design. Easy to realize, it consists of a wooden base and seat and 2 cushions.

Tailor-made kitchen bench

First the bottom half of the wall is painted over twice with a transparent 2-component matt coating, so that it is stronger and washable. Base is hxdxl 34.0x35.0x110.0. Seating area is 7x50x110. TOSIZE.co.uk: Pre-primed wood thickness 22 mm, all visible corners were miter cut. Everything blind screwed and glued. Hidden socket was moved to the base (male plug with cable + new built-in socket). The wall connection on the right was finished with plastic corners (kit inside corners). The foot was first anchored to the wall with 2 screws (drill 7 mm), then the seat part was screwed to the foot part from above with 2 long screws (no glue). In this way, the sofa can still be unscrewed if ever necessary, without glue connection to the floor or wall. Painted 2x with Sigma water-based interior wood paint. Skirting leftovers meranti, mitred, with the same paint, 1 layer for a rougher look. Skirting boards glued with construction sealant and connection (gaps) filled with Tec7. Have cushions made to measure. filling 'nice and firm'. Had no problem sliding away, paint gives sufficient friction.
