Wooden grate for the trench consisting of 3 parts Multiplex Birch 27 mm. The plastic bushings of the old trench grid were partly broken and the gaps between the slats were just big enough to sink in with your chair legs. To solve both problems, new grids have been made from Multiplex.

Work description: how did you realize your project

Ordered panels in the right size and made a milling template at home. Ensured that the number, width and position of the slots are the same. This will give you a symmetrical result. Slots were first cut out shallowly with a router and then a hole was drilled in each slot. Cut out the rest with a jigsaw. Sanded the inside of the slots and the outer edges, then coated with 3 layers of PU lacquer.
