Windowsill you can sit on plus storage space, by Rowan

Description

A windowsill made at our dormer window, where you can sit on. With extra storage space, which you can reach by putting hinges on the flaps.

Searched for inspiration on the internet, drawn an idea, took measurements and ordered from TOSIZE.co.uk. I first made the construction of the beams, cut them to size with a crosscut saw. I attached them securely by screws and wood glue. Then I placed the cut-to-size planks on top and checked whether the measurements were correct. These were perfect, I drilled and screwed the places for cloth. Finally, I placed the hinges, so that the covers can open.
