Step by step guide
Preparation
Marking out the panels and sawing them to the exact size regarding the depth of the roof window. Unfortunately, they were not straight, so they had to be adjusted manually.
- Screw the frame together using screws at the corners. Then apply primer and two topcoats. Saves masking the skylight.
Montage
Trim installed as a single unit in the roof window and secured with PUR foam.
Finish
- Finally, install finishing strips (molding), using a combination of mounting adhesive and small nails.
- Seal completely and paint.
