In this DIY project, Tom shows how he made a kitchen for his camper. He ordered custom-made plywood poplar panels for this job. This way he can start immediately. Read more about his approach and experience below.

Description of Tom

Simply communicate all measurements to the millimeter via the website. Received neatly on the agreed date, neatly packaged, no damage and everything tailor-made. Other parts are also included👍🏼Now we're starting to build our camper kitchen. There shouldn't be a millimeter in this, so it's super pleasant to work this way. Once all the cabinets are put together, it is the turn of the drawers. So next week we will order the drawers via the same route. Thank you!

How I made this project

Glue with bison wood glue, tack for the first time, shoot dimensionally stable and then finish screws. I cut the skirting boards that will be underneath to 10x10, so that we have more space in the camper when preparing food, etc. The top slats will become mountings for the top, which I also want to order. Not yet sure which material I want to use for this. The choice of material for the cabinets was poplar plywood. We would like to make the fronts from birch plywood. Slightly more fragile than poplars.

Dimensions of my DIY project
