In times of quarantine, there was a sudden need for a real home office. I didn't want a boring Ikea desk so I looked for a handy way to turn Pools Grenen multiplex a nice table top. This was really perfect at TOSIZE.co.uk! All sawing options and different types of wood meant that I only had to sand and paint a little. With loose trestles underneath so that I can easily store the table if I want to use the room for something else again. Really great!

Work description: how did you realize your project

I specifically wanted Pools grenen because it has the smoothest wood grain. Making it was as simple as ordering the wood. Sand very gently by hand with very coarse sandpaper (note, not too hard because it will splinter) and then 2 coats of a very matte colorless wood lacquer. I wanted to keep it as matte as possible. So front and back twice. For the legs I chose simple Ikea trestles because I did not want to screw.
