Description by Marcel
I expanded my TV cabinet with a CD cabinet, the space for LPs was too small, and by 2 By sacrificing drawers, I created more space, but was 6 meters short of the CDs in the drawers.
How I made this project
First I made a sketch of how I would get 6 meters of shelves for my other CDs, thinking about separate shelves, a fixed cupboard on top of the furniture, ultimately a separate cupboard on the wall was the best solution and the cheapest. Of course everything was measured and a drawing was made, the calculations were made 100 times and the data was entered on the Opmaat website. When the planks arrived I took them to work where we have a workshop with professional equipment. There I milled the uprights and provided the planks with a sloping edge. We then glued the uprights and planks together. Took it home the next day and varnished the shelves and painted the uprights. Then the most difficult part, hanging up. And then the cabinet rolls with CDs.
