My children sleep in a loft. To make optimal use of the space in the room, I made a design for a cupboard that you can walk up on. There are various spaces in the stair cupboard where you can store things of all sizes. The space is made in such a way that you can put standard (Ikea) drawers or baskets in it. The construction is made in such a way that it is strong enough to stand up.

After I had made a design so that the cabinet fit but was also structurally strong enough, I placed an order at TOSIZE.co.uk. At TOSIZE.co.uk all Multiplex Birch wood was then sawn to the correct dimensions. Some stair sections have also been completed. This made assembly a lot easier and the chance of miscutting less. I then assembled the staircase using dowels and a few screws. After the cabinet was put together I primed it and then painted it.
