For a client, I made a foldable desk and stained it. For this project, I used regular hinges. The foldable legs help for stability. Overall, a very satisfied and smiling customer.

How I Completed This Project

Simple execution as seen in the attached photos. Everything is glued with wooden dowels and screwed with wood screws. Small hinges for the countertop, less than 2 cm to the legs 3-4 cm. As you can see in the photos, it has been lacquered 5-6 times to achieve a light gloss. Without polishing agents. Spray varnish and stain applied with a sponge, not with a brush. If you do this with a brush, some hair may remain or a brush after the brush. The production time is about a week and a half from receiving the material and ready for the customer.

Dimensions of My DIY Project

When folded, the dimensions are 100.0 x 35.0 cm. When unfolded, the work surface is 100.0 x 70.0 cm. The height of a standard desk is 72-74 cm from the floor.
